Chievo earned a crucial point last week when it forced a scoreless stalemate against Sassuolo.


Although the squad was unable to move out of the table’s rock bottom pit, its new head honcho, Rolando Maran remained satisfied with the result and even promised that more improvements can be expected from the group.



Despite taking the lead, Cesena was unable to take advantage of the winning opportunity, which lay ahead of them. As their match against Hellas Verona near its end, the latter netted a goal on the 77th minute, thus, forcing them (Cesena) to let go of the crucial two (2) points that could have lifted them in the league table.

Sassuolo vs. Atalanta

Even Eusebio Di Francesco hailed the defence that Chievo showed during their recent clash.


The match ended in a scoreless stalemate and it seems that the sports betting favorite (Sassuolo) is content of what transpired in the said encounter.


The Neroverdis will now work on their upcoming face-off against Atalanta, which, like them, also endured an even steven finish against Torino.



Stefano Colantuono seems to be satisfied with the draw that it incurred at home when it went against Torino.


Atalanta struggled to net the necessary goal, but they have nonetheless earned a point, which proved to be important in its attempt to survive a competitive season.
