Arsenal- Week 14

Arsenal vs. Southampton

Match Date: 03 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Arsenal

Arsenal erased all doubts over their abilities to remain on top of the Premier League table after snatching a win against West Bromwich Albion. The Gunners has been readily criticized following a 2-consecutive loss to Manchester United and Swansea. This has also prompted questions on whether Arsene Wenger can still keep his post or not. Yet, as mentioned, the club disproved all of its detractors and returned to winning ways.

The club’s next match is pitted against Southampton and once again, they need to secure another batch of three (3) points if they really want to return to the league’s most precious elite.

Southampton

Southampton could only stare into desperation as the title contender and sports betting favorite, Manchester City thumped them with three (3) goals and a clean sheet). It was the squad’s first loss in its last six (6) matches and it also pushed them to the 3rd spot of the table.

Southampton’s resilience will be further put to the test when they visit Emirates Stadium this week.

Prediction

Arsenal 1-1 Southampton

Everton vs. Hull

Match Date: 03 December 2014 (local time

Venue: Goodison Park

Everton

Although Kevin Mirallas fired Eveton to the top, Tottenham quick response prevented the former from taking the three (3) points. It was their first loss within their last 6 matches and there’s no doubt that it was indeed, very disappointing. Nevertheless, they might find easy redemption when they face a struggling Hull City next week. s

Hull

A thrashing from Manchester United endangered Hull’s stay in the top-flight league. The Tigers seemed to lose their fierce form on the pitch after being handed by their 6th winless streak. Many are expecting the club to recover, but it seems a bit impossible as of the moment since the disparities in team form and skills between Everton and Hull are quite wide.

Prediction

Everton 3-1 Hull
