Manchester City - Week 12

Manchester City vs. Swansea

Match Date: 22 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Etihad Stadium

Manchester City

City’s destroyed morale may cause troubles in their upcoming performance against Swansea.

Just recently, the sports betting favorite was stunned by the lowly Queen Park Rangers when the latter forced them to settle for an even steven finish. It is still too early to tell if the club has already fallen out of the title race. But with eight (8) points to address, it will be a definite uphill task for the defending champion.

Sadly, it seems that more problems arise within the City camp as its team captain, Vincent Kompany will be sidelined after incurring a calf injury.

Swansea’s late rally against Arsenal was worth all the blood and tears as they end the match with three (3) points under its belt.

Due to the said victory, Swansea has propelled its rank to the 5th spot of the table. Along with it is the possibility of qualifying for the Europa League next season.

Leicester vs. Sunderland

Match Date: 22 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: King Power Stadium

Leicester will attempt to seek redemption at home via clinching three (3) crucial points against Sunderland.

The club has been a familiar face in the relegation zone since the season started and it seems like its chances of snatching its 3rd victory may not materialize.

Sunderland joined QPR in the Premier League’s list of stunning performances. The Black Cats was impressive in pushing for an even steven finish against Everton. The draw catapulted its rank to 14, which is several notches away from the relegation zone.

However, there’s an impending possibility for them to be sanctioned due to its failure to control its players during the Everton stalemate.

Leicester 0-2 Sunderland
