Manchester City - Week 11

Queen Park Rangers vs. Manchester City

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Loftus Road

Queen Park Rangers

The Hoops seems to be trapped in a dead end after failing to snatch that elusive victory against the football betting favorite, Chelsea.

With the above-mentioned defeat, the squad (QPR) remains at the rock bottom part of the league table. The club has long been labeled as a relegation contender and it is indeed, living up to the expectations of many.

Manchester City

Despite concerns over City’s form, Manuel Pellegrini and his men dominated the derby against Manchester United in an attempt to strengthen the club’s title defence.

The uncertainty that City felt prior to the derby was triggered by its shocking defeat to West Ham United. Nevertheless, this did not prevent Sergio Aguero from delivering the points that the current title holder (desperately) needs.

Queen Park Rangers 0-3 Manchester City

Southampton vs. Leicester

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: St. Mary’s Stadium

The Saints barely need to rely on divine intervention to assert its right for this season’s title. Standing strong in the 2nd spot of the table, they were the (unlikely) performer of the league. At best, they are the dark horse that could give everybody else a scare on the pitch.

Just recently, the club snatched a 1-0 win against Hull City and collected more points to remain on top.

Southampton has only lost once since the current season started. Expect a stronger and better performance from the club.

Joining QPR at the rock bottom pit of the table is Leicester. Pitted against West Brom, the club suffered another major defeat, which prevented them from veering away from the relegation zone.

Apparently, there is little probability for the squad to get the better off Southampton. A stalemate is the best possible result that Leicester could accomplish.
