Marseille- Week 16

Lorient vs. Marseille

Match Date: 02 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Stade du Moustoir

Lorient’s second straight win clearly proves that they’re determined to retain their Ligue 1 status. The club has already hit the relegation zone due to its back-to-back losses, but apparently, they’ve already take a different route. Lorient is now out of the league’s rock bottom part. But they need to continue their winning streak in order to successfully veer away from the dreaded zone.

The current league leader, Marseille, remains on top after dominating the match against Nantes. Amidst the pressure caused by its closest rival, Paris Saint Germain (PSG), they’re able to withstand the pressure and still remain as the league’s top online betting favorite.

Lorient 1-3 Marseille

AS Monaco vs. Lens

Match Date: 02 December 2014 (local time

Venue: Stade Louis II

AS Monaco

As the defeat to Rennes wasn’t enough, AS Monaco will have to deal with Geoffrey Kondogbia’s absence. The midfielder suffered a thigh injury that will leave him on the sidelines for two (2) months. Monaco is winless in its last four (4) matches and Kondogbia’s loss will definitely add more burden to the squad’s current problems.

Lens’ confidence is bolstered up by a well-deserved win against another newly promoted squad, Metz. It  has been lingering in the relegation zone for quite some time and while it is true that nothing has really changed, the minor changed in their rank, foresees a brighter and bigger future.
