Getafe- Week 14

Eibar vs. Almeria

Match Date: 08 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Ipurua

Eibar

Eibar takes all the positives from its narrow win against Celta Vigo last week. Despite the difficulty of the said match, the newly-promoted squad wasn’t left empty-handed and instead, gained three (3) crucial points to veer away from the dreaded relegation zone.

Almeria

Almeria’s head honcho, Francisco Rodriguez expressed his bitterness over his side’s narrow defeat to Rayo Vallecano. He even described the scenario as one that left them “looking like assholes.”  His reaction was a bit understandable. Both teams were already looking forward to a stalemate, but a last minute grasp by Rayo made them lost the three (3) points.

Almeria now sits at the 17th spot of the table and just a notch away from the relegation zone.

Prediction

Eibar 2-0 Almeria

Levante vs. Getafe

Match Date: 08 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Ciutat de Valencia

Levante

Levante is on the verge of hitting the relegation zone after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Espanyol. With just two (2) points to secure their survival, this does not guarantee that they will retain their Primera Division status. Everything can still happen and if they’re not careful, they might find themselves at the rock bottom part of the table.

Getafe

From the team form alone, it is evident that Getafe is the match’s online betting favorite. Although it suffered its 2nd consecutive loss, its current status is way better than that of Levante. Occupying the 15th spot of the table with two (2) wins in its last 6 matches, the squad manifests higher winning possibilities even without getting any support from the crowd.

Prediction

Levante 0-2 Getafe
