Granada- Week 14

Barcelona vs. Espanyol

Match Date: 07 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Camp Nou

Despite the fact that Barcelona is the overt favorite of sports betting sites, the squad cannot be too complacent during their derby against Espanyol. Considering the fact that it is derby means that Espanyol will not give them an easy win.

In the meantime, the team will be missing the services of Thomas Vermaelen during the said clash. The center-back will be sidelined for four (4) months, following the surgery that it had in Finland.

A win against Levante signaled the end of Espanyol’s winless run. But is it really the end? Indeed, they can pull off a good fight against Barcelona, yet the difference in form and abilities clearly suggests that Barca has the outright edge in the match. Espanyol, however, could force a draw to bring home a point from the said clash. s

Granada vs. Valencia

Match Date: 07 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Los Carmenes

It looks like Granada will have a hard time ending its losing streak. The club has been out of form for quite some time now and the 5-1 defeat to Sevilla will not help them at all.

Granada needs to step up or endure the risk of falling in the relegation zone.

Valencia hopes to respond well to its narrow defeat to Barcelona. The said loss prevented the club from extending its lead against Malaga, which could easily topple them out of the league’s top five (5). It was also their second consecutive loss , thus, further increasing the pressure of winning their upcoming match.
