Athletic Bilbao - week 14

Athletic Bilbao vs. Cordoba

Match Date: 06 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: San Mames

Athletic Bilbao

A Champions League hiatus almost transformed Athletic Bilbao into a relegation favorite after hitting the rock bottom part of the La Liga table. However, their past performances clearly showed that they’re no longer stuck in a losing streak. The club has managed to maintain a clean slate in its last six (6) matches and is eager to extend its undefeated run in Spain’s top-flight league.

Cordoba’s ambition of clinching its first win failed again. Valencia proved to be too strong for the newly-promoted squad, which had to endure a 2-0 thrashing. There’s still hope for Cordoba to avoid survival struggles, yet, they have to start immediately or it may be too late for them.

Athletic Bilbao 3-0 Cordoba

Deportivo La Coruna vs. Malaga

Match Date: 06 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Riazor

Deportivo La Coruna

Deportivo needs to move on from the tragic death of its supporter during the Atletico Madrid clash. Indeed, the said scenario hurts, but perhaps, the best revenge they could offer is to remain in the top-flight league.
Deportive currently thrives in the 19th spot of the table, with just a single win in its last 6 matches.

Despite the narrow defeat to Real Madrid, it can be fairly said that Malaga did an impressive job against the Los Blancos. Avoiding a possible thrash and even nailing a shot prove to be a difficult task to Real Madrid’s opponents, but Malaga did well in the match that they’ve avoided a clean sheet.

Pitted against Deportivo, it doesn’t take a genius to see that they’re the match’s online betting favorite that will easily dominate the said encounter.
