Celta Vigo- Week 11

Malaga vs. Rayo Vallecano

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: La Rosaleda

A certified sports betting favorite, Malaga remained on the 7th spot of Primera Division’s table despite the narrow victory against Real Sociedad. Nevertheless, being stuck on the previously mentioned rank, barely matters. What is more important was the fact that they were able to secure the necessary points to remain on top.

Right now the club’s focus concentrates on Eibar. Unfortunately, they will be missing the presence of Sergio Sanchez and Vitorino Antunes, who will be sidelined due to injuries.

A win against Rayo Vallecano propelled Eibar to the 9th spot of the league table. The victory can be considered as a major improvement from the club, which has already suffered a 5-match winless streak.
Although Eibar won the match, its head honcho, Gaizka Garitano acknowledged its rival’s stellar performance and stressed that a draw could have been a much better result.

Celta Vigo vs. Granada

Match Date: 08 November 2014 (local time)

Venue: Balaidos

Celta Vigo

Celta Vigo’s stunning win against Barcelona has been the talk of the town last week. The visitor pulled off a successful upset, which earned them the crucial three (3) points.

The OS Celticos currently occupies the 6th spot of the table and has won four (4) of its last six (6) matches. When asked about the secret behind the Barcelona win, its manager, Eduardo Berizzo pointed to mental strength, most especially when it comes to defence, which generated the said win.

Granada will try to forget the horrors of the thrashing they received from Real Madrid last week as they visit Celta Vigo.

El Grana received a beating when the Los Blancos army scored four (4) goals and even kept a clean sheet in their recent encounter. Apparently, Granada’s  form is in doubt. With their defeat to Real Madrid, the club just snatched its 6th winless match.
