Borussia Dortmund- Week 14

Borussia Dortmund vs. Hoffenheim

Match Date: 05 December 2014 (local time)

Venue: Signal Iduna Park

Borussia Dortmund

It was unimaginable to see Borussia Dortmund hit the rock bottom part of the relegation zone, but they did. The match against Eintracht Frankfurt ended in a bitter loss that kept many confused, including Jurgen Klopp.

Dortmund features a strong and high quality squad and their greatness is evident in how they dominated their Champions League group. Sure, the recently concluded World Cup has worn out the players. But whilst Bayern, where most of World Cup stars came from, has already recovered, Dortmund fell into an agonizing winless streak. The club has only won thrice since the season started. One of them was an unexpected own goal from Cristoph Kramer. Their survival chances could’ve been higher if they have more draws than losses. Yet, it was the other way around. Losses dominated Dortmund’s current performance and is also the reason behind its seemingly (unexpected) downfall.

Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim could capitalize on Dortmund’s dilemma to turn the odds into their favor. They weren’t really the top pick of sports betting sites, yet, seeing at how terrible Dortmund’s performances are, they (Hoffenheim) elicit high possibilities of snatching the three (3) points.

Apparently, the squad has a better form. This is despite winning just two (2) matches within its last six (6) encounters. For so many times, Dortmund has been often describe to pose a threat to its opponent, but perhaps, Hoffenheim can have the privilege of relaxing for a while.  Or should Dortmund attempts to return to its ruthless ways, there is a high possibility of still getting a point through an even steven finish.

Prediction

Borussia Dortmund  1-1 Hoffenheim
