Between Osasuna (Los Rojillos) and Athletic Bilbao (Los Leones), the latter have shown more consistency in their performances than the former. In the past two match dates that these sides have competed against each other, for example, Bilbao drove their machines more efficiently that they were able to topple Osasuna on both occasions. Now that the two sides are again going head-to-head for the La Liga trophy, there is a slim chance that Los Rojillos will make it past their opponents. The match will be held on August 24 at Bilbao’s home court, the San Mamés Barria.

Last season, Bilbao (12th) were four places ahead of Osasuna (16th). The former accumulated a total of 45 points by the end of the tournament while the latter only managed to acquire 39 points. As per opening of the current La Liga season, Los Leones remain far ahead of their opponents. The side ascended to the 4th place so far, while Osasuna is pinned at number 14. By this account, Bilbao are sure to appear frequently as favorites in online betting, regardless if it is European, Latin American, or Asian Sportsbook.

Los Rojillos debuted in the 2013-14 La Liga season with a disappointing defeat from Granada 1-2 despite having the home advantage. This makes the team’s second downfall since submitting to Tenerife 1-2 in the Club Friendlies last August 3. Earlier matches were also fairly impressive, with completely no win to accentuate their streak. They only formed draws with NEC 1-1, Heerenveen 2-2, and Twente 0-0.

Minus one defeat from Real Zaragoza 1-4, Los Leones seem to be having a good control of their matches. They won over Real Valladolid 1-2 in a beautiful fight at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla. Similar outcome also throve when they fought against Braunschweiger 4-0 and Club Bermeo 1-6. A draw was posted in their drawl with Freiburg 0-0.

Unless Osasuna unleash their secret weapons (if they have), Bilbao will make this tournament in favor of them.
