Getafe are only one point adrift of the relegation zone and have so far conceded 46 goals for a goal difference of -20. They have been rendered winless for 14 straight league weeks with only five of those giving them some points (draws with Real Sociedad, Real Valladolid, Celta Vigo, Espanyol, and Granada). They remain very poor in defending counter attacks and set pieces, although there is some hope in their good aerial stunts.

In spite of scoring a late consolation, Villarreal still went short of winning all the spoils from Valencia who dominated their brawl through a Javi Fuego first-half brace. The deficit has therefore pulled El Submarino Amarillo one spot lower down the league table, placing them at number six as compared to last week’s fifth position. The current rank is not necessarily bad, but it narrowed their chance of obtaining sure ticket into the Europa League.

Football betting tip: This tourney will end in favor of Villarreal.

Real Sociedad vs. Real Valladolid

Match Date: 27 March 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Estadio Anoeta

There are plenty of things that will put a wide margin between Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid. In terms of form, the home side boast of a much reliable streak of results than the visitors. Txuri-urdin has  a W13-D7-L8 record while Pucela has a dismaying W5-D12-L12. There is also a huge gap between the sides’ goal differences: 10 for Jagoba Arrasate’s men and -18 for Juan Ignacio Martínez’s lads. Real Sociedad’s home matches have already given them nine victories out of 14 while Real Valladolid only managed to win once in all of their away matches this season so far.

In terms of skills, the hosts show vigorousness in finishing scoring chances, counter attacking, creating long shot opportunities, and defending set pieces. The guests, while being resilient in some instances, still have a lot of disciplines to be improved. They lack initiative to defend set pieces, fail to protect themselves against through ball attacks, and seldom avoid errors.

Sports betting tip: Real Sociedad will absolutely lord this match over.
