Sevilla

Sevilla’s last five matches were apt reasons to celebrate 2013’s end in a confident manner. The side achieved four victories in this streak, with the remainder ending in a draw. This was perhaps the side’s most successful cluster of matches in the current season of La Liga, contributing substantial points to position the Sevillistas in the seventh spot.

While Sevilla may remain challenged of their defense against long shots, they are continuously making considerable improvements in attacking set pieces. They are also showing substantial skills in creating long shot opportunities, which complements quite well their ability to steal the ball from their opponents.

Getafe

Getafe only managed to win once in their last five matches. Three of those fixtures ended in painful defeats, particularly the one they incurred from Atletico Madrid 7-0. But despite their disastrous recent showings, the side are still ranked within the top eight. They have won seven times this season, forced a draw twice, and defeated eight times. Their overall score stands at 23 points.

Still lacking enough grease to smoothen their defense of set pieces, Getafe need major overhaul of their maneuvers. Their strategies in the air are okay, but they lack substantial ability in protecting the lead and keeping possession of the ball, to name a few.

Online betting tip: Sevilla are building an even better reputation in the Spanish top-tier league, and surely they will continue to deliver. Getafe will try hard to defeat their opponents, but the homes side will ultimately win the silverware.
