Real Valladolid

Pucela’s three-match unbeaten streak was awfully put to an end with a 3-0 mauling by potential champions Atletico Madrid. Maybe it was goalkeeper Diego Marino who made it tragic for the side, although Atletico’s excellent attacks has just really been strong that they easily outclassed the visitors’ defense and goalkeeping. Raul Garcia and Diego Costa put the hosts in the lead early on with two goals within the first four minutes, which was later increased to three by Diego Godin.

Valladolid’s loss did not help them gain advantage over their opponents, and have instead shipped another week in the relegation zone. They only earned 21 points from 24 matches with a goal difference of -16.

Currently a top half club in La Liga, Levante obtained a much-needed win from their tourney against struggling Almeria. A powerful strike by David Barral was all the side needed to see off their rivals. The striker produced a goal a minute after the hour, which served as the very first scoring chance to be converted from a sizable number of lost opportunities that had fallen at his feet. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas was also equally stunning. Had it not been to his superb performance, Oscar Diaz would have netted an equalizer.

Football betting tip: Real Valladolid and Levante both have a few players sidelined. The last face-off they had ended in a draw. Expect the same result in this battle.
