Real Madrid

Whether in La Liga, Copa del Rey, or a club friendly, Real Madrid are prove that they are indeed a superpower. All those three competitions (the side’s latest fixtures) finished with flying colors. The side secured the Copa del Rey silverware upon thrashing Olímpic de Xàtiva 2-0, bagged a La Liga win when they met with Valencia 2-3, and obtained an additional trophy when they trounced PSG in an exhibition match. The squad have been unbeaten for 13 consecutive matches, which include a perfect record at home.

In the Spanish top-flight league, Los Blancos rightfully rank within the top three, after achieving an impressive record of 13 victories, two draws, and 2 defeats. They currently vaunt a total score of 41 points, just five points short of Barcelona or Atletico Madrid’s score.

Celta de Vigo

Celta’s five most recent matches were marred by a well-pronounced inconsistency. The dilemma reach its summit in their second and third latest fixtures, where they were rendered goal-less by Real Valladolid 3-0 and Athletic Club 4-0. Even the lowly Osasuna were able to hold them in a draw 1-1.

Current standings place Luis Enrique’s men at number 15, just one point clear of relegation. They have endured more losses than victories, as evidenced by their W4-D4-L9 domestic record.

Football betting tip: In a fixture where one party is apparently more vigorous (and very strong at home) than the other, the results seem to suggest obvious winners. In this match, Celta de Vigo will have to incur another defeat from a much more in-form Real Madrid.
