Betis and Real Valladolid are two of this season’s least impressive squads. In fact, the former were recently confirmed of relegation after their total score posted a very small number that their last few remaining fixtures in La Liga will no longer be helpful. For Valladolid, however, there is still hope for survival especially that they still have a few more matches to engage in and they would only need moderately substantial points to secure safety.

The Beticos have only won five times from 36 fixtures, drawing in seven, and losing in 24. Perhaps, they have some of the longest and the most number of losing streaks in the league among all clubs indicating a very serious dilemma on almost every aspect of their campaign. The side may be good at defending set pieces, but they achingly suffer from mediocre abilities in almost every other pitch skill. They barely convert scoring chances, get loose traction of their defense, fall prey to opponents’ through ball attacks and often commit errors. While a few of their players have shown some promise, it is the entire teamwork that suffers proper traction. The management is also very weak; in fact, the side changed managers three times this season.

Valladolid have spent many weeks in the Spanish top-flight league’s relegation zone and their survival remains a major question for the side. While their victory over Espanyol did give renewed hope for another berth next season, they cannot deny the fact that majority of their battles have ended rather frustratingly. They have the second smallest number of victories (and points) in the competition, although six more clubs are below them in terms of goal difference.

Sports betting tip: Real Valladolid will triumph over Real Betis on a narrow lead.
