On September 15, Chelsea and Everton will launch their first encounter for the season. Should football betting enthusiasts give their odds to this match, the League table will absolutely make for a good reference. Chelsea currently sit on the second bar of the table while Everton is ranked in a modest 15th spot.

Chelsea remain undefeated in the Premier league, with their first two openers sending both Hull City 2-0 and Aston Villa 2-1 to the danger zone. The side proved to be an inhospitable host to visitors, with both matches they have won at home. Their third stint was a draw with Manchester United 0-0 where they played as away for the first time in the season. However, José Mourinho’s squad were not that lucky when it comes to bagging the UEFA Super Cup, seen in their narrow downfall from Bayern Munchen last August 31. The match was originally put on a draw 2-2 but Bayern were able to clinch the win after scoring 5-4 on penalties. It was a breathtaking match; but thanks to Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku’s bland attempt, Bayern have just been declared the 2013 UEFA Super Cup winners.

Everton have neither been good nor bad since the season opened. All of their three matches were pinned to draws, brushing shoulders with the likes of Cardiff City 0-0, West Bromwich 0-0, and Norwich City 2-2. Such a safe streak is not making any large-scale impact on the team. Their placement at number 15 is certainly not a good spot to settle. Roberto Martínez need to introduce new tactics to his men in order to add a win to their record, much like the way he did when the squad won over Stevenage 2-1 in the League Cup. If he and his side arrive at the same hotspot and optimize their potential for astonishing routines, then they can break the monotony of their streak. But extra precaution must be taken, as their upcoming opponents are not that easy to tackle.

Chelsea’s superiority over Everton can be seen in various facets, in addition to their obvious dominance in the League table. The latter are undoubtedly making a big room for improvement, but the former still have the knack for bringing home an away win. Well above a 52 percent probability roam around a Chelsea triumph with six clean sheets on top.
