Swansea City and Norwich City are currently positioned in the table’s 15th and 13th spots, respectively. The visitors may be ranking higher than Swansea but they actually have a much worse goal deficit that they need to turn around. Form-wise, though, they remain slightly more comfortable than their hosts. Swansea have been winless for six straight league matches while Norwich already achieved seven points from the same number of fixtures.

The teams are equally good in protecting their respective leads but they exude varying capacities in other skill gradients. Additionally, based on their last five face-offs, Norwich have achieved more points than their opponents. They won three out of those fixtures and finished the remainders in stalemates.

Sports betting tip: Norwich will win this duel, albeit with a very narrow lead over Swansea.

West Bromwich Albion vs. Cardiff City

Match Date: 29 March 2014 (local)

Match Venue: The Hawthorns

West Bromwich spent their last five matches struggling to keep themselves free from the threats of relegation. The Baggies were mostly successful at this attempt but they would need a much larger canon that they can use to completely exploit their full potential and send them into the table’s higher reaches. The current 16th placers are only three points away from the bottom three, which in was in part due to the less-than-agreeable results they earned from Chelsea 1-1, Fulham 1-1, Manchester United 1-2, and most recently, Hull City 2-0.

Cardiff City’s chance at league safety gets narrower and narrower every passing week. There is still a possibility for them to escape relegation but their form is not showing significant signs of life. Out of 31 matches, The Bluebirds have already incurred 18 defeats—four of which were obtained from their last five fixtures alone. They have the second worst goal difference among all top-tier clubs, indicating a massively poor defense or goalkeeping.

Online betting tip: West Bromwich and Cardiff City will each drop two points.
