Manchester City are now the most likely club to dominate the English top-tier league. The side still have two more matches to finish and they are only one point behind current leaders, Liverpool (who are on course to their last fixture this season). City earned 10 points from their last four matches, winning in the three most recent. Gaining the pole position at this very stage is highly plausible, especially that they have the league’s largest goal difference.

Berth in next season’s edition of the Premier League is almost certain for Aston Villa, who scored a victory over Hull through Andreas Weimann’s brace. The winger has been in drought of goals for the past dozen matches, but his “comeback” proved decisive of his side’s fate in the tournament. He delivered a pair of headers in the first half at Villa Park, earning the team their very first win in seven top-flight attempts.

Online betting tip: Manchester City should celebrate for another victory.
