Fulham and Crystal Palace both have history in the relegation zone for this season; the only difference is that the former are already relegated while the latter have been secured of a place for next season. The Cottagers’ defeat from Stoke City cemented their exit from the English top-flight football, a result that brought them down to their knees following the powerful goals from Peter Odemwingie, Marko Arnautovic, Oussama Assaidi and Jonathan Walters.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, fought back with a mighty spirit to keep Liverpool’s title aspiration at bay by delivering a massive 3-3 draw at the Selhurst Park. The guests looked to be winning the entire brawl with three successive goals they scored between the 18th and 55th minutes. However, Palace were bolstered of destroying Liverpool’s championship hopes when Damien Delaney netted a goal in the 79th minute and Dwight Gayle fired a brace late in the fixture. The entire season has been an uphill battle for the Eagles, but their extreme determination and teamwork rendered them with positive, well-deserved results.

Sports betting tip: With low levels of motivation to earn any further success, Fulham will succumb to Crystal Palace.
