Falcao

In spite of England’s untimely exit in the World Cup, the domestic league remains a strong draw to football supporters and online bookies. There are plenty of things going on en route to the next season and while only a few of the gossips have been confirmed, there is a strong buzz that other possible player movements are just a hairline away from reality. Here are some of the latest happenings in the English top-tier league:

  • Colombian talisman Radamel Falcao is being touted to leave French side AS Monaco after just one season crowned by a multi-million dollar deal. With reports supporting this claim surfacing, English squads Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea would be very much interested in assigning the striker with his own spot in their ensembles. Falcao is currently recuperating from an injury he incurred from the last league season.
  • Diego Costa is bound for Chelsea and as his replacement in Atletico Madrid, Alvaro Negredo is said to be leaving Manchester City for the Spanish side.
  • Olympic goal scorer Angel Di Maria admits that there is no certainty over his stay with Real Madrid. With this, Arsenal and Manchester United would be rivaling for his service.
  • Bafetimbi Gomis is set to join forces with Swansea to complete his free transfer move after rejecting Newcastle United.
  • Crystal Palace top brass and savior Tony Pulis is hoping to lure Wilfried Zaha back to Selhurst Park following the striker’s underwhelming spell at Old Trafford. The club are also planning to sign Joel Campbell, the brilliant Costa Rican who sent his country to victory against Uruguay in their World Cup curtain raiser.
