The face-off between Manchester City and Chelsea ended in a stalemate, which is quite favorable to both parties. Despite losing the opportunity to snatch 3 points, both teams were able to salvage their pride since neither of the two waved the white flag.

 

Andre Schurrle broke the silence when he scored the match’s first goal, but his shot was soon erased when Frank Lampard scored the equalizer shortly after coming in as a substitute.
