English Premier League Team Review: Tottenham Hotspurs

Tottenham Hotspurs- Morgan Schneiderlin

A closer look at Tottenham’s performance during the last three (3) seasons shows a gradual and steady decline.

They finished 4th during the 2011-2012 season, ranked 5th the following year and last season (2013-1014), they landed on the 6th spot.

Although this is fairly understandable, considering the fact that Gareth Bale was no longer with them and that management issues have been causing too much trouble, the online betting favorite cannot afford to experience another drop this season.

Match to remember

Winning over Manchester United—a feat that they last achieved in 1989 can be considered as one of their best moments.

Match to forget

Losing thrice to fierce rival, West Ham United was simply too humiliating for the Spurs. The Hammers literally thrashed them in the top-flight league. But it did not end there since they also lost during the Capital One Cup match.

The scene-stealers

Christian Eriksen becomes Tottenham’s Man of the Match. To score ten (10) goals after arriving at White Hart Lane, the Spurs are definitely getting their money’s worth on this man.

Latest additions

Tottenham has been keeping tabs on Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin. There are still no reports of whether an agreement has been finalized. But the Spurs need to secure his signature quickly since Arsenal has also expressed its interest to the midfielder.

It is said that Tottenham will most likely win the race due to its connection with Mauricio Pochetttino, yet, not until a deal has been made, Schneiderlin’s inclusion remains a big question.
