Manchester City are unbeaten in five consecutive matches from three different competitions. They were massive winners against Sheffield Wednesday 7-0 in the League Cup as well as against Hull City 2-4 and Aston Villa in the Premier League. They forced draws with Chelsea in the English top flight and Roma in the Champions League. The side’s rally for the EPL title remains intact but they need a more serious tactical plan against their rivals as they are still pinned in the second spot of the league table.

Tottenham Hotspur, by comparison, are also unbeaten in their past few matches. They earned all the spoils against Nottingham Forest in the League Cup and Southampton in the Premier League, but only scored a draw with Arsenal in the domestic league and Besiktas in the Europa League. They currently rank sixth in the EPL table.

Football betting tip: Manchester City will bag all the marbles against Tottenham.

Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea

Match Date: 18 October 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Selhurst Park

Palace and Chelsea had contrasting results from their most recent battles in the Premier League. While the hosts incurred a 2-0 loss to Hull City, the visitors successfully obtained a clean sheet from Arsenal and have therefore remained the top contingents for the domestic title. Palace seem very skilled at creating chances but it is in the conversion and defense that they falter in a sizable scale. Chelsea, meanwhile, show no sign of submitting to their opponents; their massive attack, excellence on set pieces, and knack for through balls are testament to their powerful caliber this season.

Sports betting tip: Chelsea will score all the goals from this tourney against Crystal Palace.
