The defending champions have so far produced one of the eight top scoring players of the current season, Sergio Aguero who already scored three goals in four appearances. As a team, by comparison, The Citizens have bagged seven points from a record of W2-D1-L1, which places them in the fifth spot of the current league rankings. Chelsea, meanwhile, remain unbeaten for the past four weeks or in six matches (from all competitions) and are therefore the current top dogs of the English top-tier football. The side have perfectly obtained all 12 points since opening day and them dwindling in the standings at this stage of the tournament does not seem likely. In addition, their top scoring player Diego Costa, is also the current season’s best performing outfield striker who has already scored seven goals so far.

Online betting tip: Manchester City and Chelsea will both score on either halves and a stalemate is very plausible from this meeting.

Everton vs. Crystal Palace

Match Date: 21 September 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Goodison Park

Wonder goals from Romelo Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas have given Everton their very first win of the season at the expense of West Bromwich. While the side have not completely been in drought of points or goals in their three first weeks into the Premier League, they never managed to win all the marbles from their fixtures. Seven goals were scored in their first three matches but all of those were successfully equalized by their rivals and even affored to concede three more goals. The Toffees currently stand just outside the top half. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, remain winless in four consecutive EPL appearances with just two points obtained from the streak. They are level on points with three other sides—all seated in the relegation zone—and are among the competition’s minnows.

Football betting tip: Everton are on course to their second consecutive EPL win.
