After a rousing 1-0 home win against Sunderland two weeks ago, QPR are back to their old ways as the re-energized Manchester United destroyed them on a 4-0 thrashing. The side defended poorly against the former champions and none of the players were able to successfully convert scoring chances. The result counts as their third non-consecutive loss in the season, and if not for their win at The Black Cats, they would be back to the relegation zone. Stoke City, meanwhile, were also unable to produce points from their most recent battle but their win from two weeks ago as well their stalemate in the week before that ensured that they got four points to keep them adrift of the relegation zone. A negative goal difference, however, currently cap their form which suggests a relatively poor defense.

Football betting tip: QPR and Stoke will earn one point apiece.

Newcastle United vs. Hull City

Match Date: 20 September 2014 (local)

Match Venue: St. James Park

Neither Newcastle United nor Hull City produced significant points from their latest EPL matches, with the former losing to Southampton and the latter drawing with West Ham United. However, the sides are currently 10 places apart in the league table, courtesy of their earlier results in the competition. While the visitors managed to barge into the top half, the home squad are buried at the foot of the rankings. Newcastle have yet to win a match although they have already produced draws twice. Hull have won once as well as forced a draw on two occasions.

Sports betting tip: Although they are seated on the two different halves of the league table, Newcastle United and Hull City will end their battle in a draw.
