Updated: November 25, 2013

Match Date: 29 November 2013 (local)

Match Venue: Coliseum Alfonso Perez

Getafe remain short of points to reach at least the last spot in the top five, but their total earnings are nonetheless enough to keep them within the table’s upper half. Their last three matches only rendered them with one point, from a draw they had with Elche. The remaining two tourneys ended in appalling defeats, most notably their latest one, when Atletico Madrid assaulted them in a despicable 7-0 downfall.

Getafe’s loss to Diego Simeone’s squad was capped by a phenomenal overhead-kick goal from Diego Costa that produced his personal highlight reel. Despite Getafe’s strong efforts to put massive work into their stunts, they struggled to defeat, or even just score one goal against the in-form Atletico Madrid. This consumes heavy burden for the side’s future bouts, with rising fears that the defeat could diminish the side’s confidence and consequently, take a toll on their performance.

The past four matches have never been that sympathetic for Levante. Of that set, only one point was ever scored by the team. Two goal-less defeats marred the side’s already imperfect streak, while another loss further pulled them down in the rankings. Scoring only 13 goals and conceding 20 in 14 matches, Levante are desperate for a victory.

There is no particular skills department that Levante are noted for. They, however, clearly demonstrate weak maneuvers when it comes to possession, conversion, and aerial duels. They are particularly frail in shunning dangerous areas and in erecting defense against long shots.

Football betting tip: Getafe and Levante’s most recent combat together resulted in a defense-driven deadlock. Their older matches do not also tell which of the sides have the upper hand as they had successful retaliations to one another every after a defeat. This season, however, Getafe are showing much more reliability by overall criteria. Their loss to Atletico Madrid might have been bizarrely painful, but it will likely have small impact on the ways the side would plan their next modus operandi. In this match, a winning Getafe should therefore be expected. Wagering on 1.97 for the troop could be a plausible bet.
