Week highlights

Juventus put a stop to AC Milan’s winning rampage when they secured a narrow victory last week. The down the wire match ended in 1-0, thanks to the ever reliable, Carlos Tevez.

However, Juve is not the only squad determined to win the title for this season. Working silently, yet, efficiently is Rudi Garcia and his men at Roma. The club also clinched a well-deserved win against Cagliari. Similar to the online betting favorite, Juventus, Roma has managed to maintain a clean slate, except that the said victory paved way for them to topple Juve via the virtue of goal difference.

Prior to winning over Cagliaria, Roma also emerged featured in the Champions League when it thrashed CSKA Moscow. Their match ended with a spectacular 5-1.

Meanwhile, Napoli incurred its 2nd consecutive loss when it went against Udinese. Similar to  Juventus, Udinese also finished its match against Napoli with a 1-0 result.

Scene-stealers

Carlos Tevez has definitely found a home at Juventus. Since his transfer, the striker has never failed to deliver the much needed goals.

The blunders

The pressure is on to Napoli as they slipped to the 14th spot of the Serie A table. Although it is still very early to predict the squad’s future, Rafael Benitez needs to do something on his squad’s declining performance.

What to expect

Many will be expecting the Partenopei to return to its winning ways. To see them stumble is quite surprising. But considering the depth of its team form, there is a high possibility for them to return to the top.
