Serie A Transfer Rumours: Kaka’s Stay Uncertain, Immobile Insists On Remaining At Torino

Updated: May 19, 2014

Serie A is one of the world’s hotspots for great footballers. Some of them may go to another league, while there are others who want to have a taste of Italian football. Let us take a look at some of the most widely talked transfer rumours in Serie A.

Kaka openly discussed the uncertainty of his future with AC Milan. The creative player explained that despite his intention to stay, this would not guarantee his tenure with the club. He added that transfer and exit rumors followed him since his Madrid stint and Milan return.

Prior to the season’s end, there have been talks of Kaka’s move to MLS. However, this issue has not been confirmed until this date.

Kaka’s stay in Milan is set until 2015. Nevertheless, a clause in the said contract permits the Brazilian superstar to leave the club should they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Ciro Immobile

It is not surprising to see big clubs keeping their tabs on Serie A’s 2013-14 top scorer, Ciro Immobile. Torino’s trusted striker scored 22 goals and has been strongly linked to Bundesliga giant, Borussia Dortmund. The recently crowned Serie A champion, Juventus is also keen on buying Immobile’s full rights.

Unfortunately for Dortmund and Juventus, Immobile stressed that he has no plans of leaving Torino’s camp.

The striker emphasized that he is happy with his current club and has no plans of leaving them. When asked why his agent travelled to Germany, Immobile explained that he is simply visiting his relatives.

Alexis Sanchez

Other than Arsenal, Juventus is also one of Alexis Sanchez’s possible destinations next season. The Chilean star is set to leave Barcelona to achieve longer playing time.

The probability of wearing Juve’s jersey further increased when the club’s CEO, Beppe Marotta expressed his interest for the player.
