Whilst Super Mario is on the verge of leaving Italy, here are the new faces that will grace the country’s top-flight league.

Defending champion and sports betting’s top pick, Juventus has signed Romulo for a season-long loan. The midfielder who  was a previous Hellas Verona loanee is on the verge of carving his name into Juventus’ history.

Romulo, however, has the chance of being a permanent Bianconerri provided that he appears in 60% of Juve’s matches.

Javier Fernandez

Since Louis Van Gaal’s appointment, Chicharito has been topping the list of players that will be auctioned in the transfer market.

Such reports have ignited interests from Serie A powerhouses such as Inter. However, it looks like Juve is also eager to sign the Mexican football icon. The Old Lady is allegedly having talks with Manchester United over Chicharito’s proposed loan with the possibility of being permanently signed.

Ron Vlaar

Vlaar became an instant hit after his superb World Cup performance. Due to his popularity, his future at Aston Villa becomes uncertain as big clubs such as Lazio and Juventus expressed their interest over the player.
Aston Villa’s head honcho, Paul Lambert,  admitted that Vlaar could indeed leave Villa’s camp. However, he stressed that the club’s captain still has a contract with the squad and that he “loves” the team.

Lambert will soon “sit down” with Vlaar and discuss his future in the club.

Marouane Fellaini

Along with Chicharito, Fellaini is said to be  another player that does not “fit” Louis van Gaal’s plans and Napoli’s Rafael Benitez is one of the interested parties, who are delighted with the said news.
But despite the interest, Benitez emphasized that Fellaini’s future remains in Manchester United. As long as there is no verdict regarding his stay at Old Trafford, Benitez and the rest of Napoli’s management can only wait and speculate of Fellaini’s transfer.

Samuel Eto’o

Samuel Eto’o is reportedly making a grand comeback in Italy. The striker, who spent successful years at Inter is said to return, but not to his former club. He will be wearing the AS Roma jersey instead.
