With the three clubs (Juventus, Roma, and Napoli) above them in constant battle of the title, Fiorentina’s best possible position that they could accommodate this season is the fourth spot. The side are currently eight points short of their nearest competitor, although their form is not necessarily showing major upsets. The side recently won over Bologna which eventually bolstered their possibility of a Champions League seeding next season.

As expected, Sassuolo succumbed to the powerful assault of Jeventus. This resulted in Neroverdi’s near-plunge in the relegation zone. They are now level on points with Bologna but they scored more goals so they secured the slightly higher position. They remain of substantial risk of exiting the league which means that they need to show their strongest self in the season’s last few matches.

Online betting tip: Fiorentina will rule the scoring over.

Napoli vs. Cagliari

Match Date: 06 May 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadio San Paolo

Napoli are marooned at number three after they only obtained one point from a deadlock with Inter Milan. The side were able to create plenty of chances but none of those has been successfully converted. Excellence in the defense and goalkeeping also squad ensured that the side will be able to hold their opposition in a deadlock until full-time. In fact, even the exceptional chance by Nagatomo was denied and successfully saved by Reina.

For the most parts of the season, Cagliari have stayed in the table’s bottom half. They never plunged intothe drop zone but their inconsistency also prevented them from rising higher than the 10th spot (save for the curtain raiser when they ranked fifth). Rossoblu’s last two matches were victorious, but the three fixtures before that set resulted in one draw and two defeats.

Football betting tip: Cagliari will drop all three points.
