Catania’s stint in Serie A will be inevitably halted by the end of the current season. The side are still locked in the table’s foot and the poor trend they are following does not guarantee hope either. Of their past five (or more) matches, only one match ended successfully while the rest all went hideous. Rossazzurri are strongly maligned by ppor skills in finishing scoring chances, made worse by a terrible defense and unreliable performance in the air.

Roma, by contrast, are already certain of finishing the term strongly behind winners-apparent Juventus. Napoli are their closest rivals, but they are separated by a quite large margin of 16 points. Giallorossi have been undefeated in their last nine matches and their last few remaining fixtures will guarantee them with at least one point (for each match).

Football betting tip: Roma will largely dominate over Catania.

Chievo Verona vs. Torino

Match Date: 04 May 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadio Marc`Antonio Bentegodi

Chievo and Torino have almost contrasting forms. The hosts appeared underdogs in four of their last five fixtures while the visitors managed to maintain an unbeaten record for the same streak. Head to head, Il Toro are also quite more dominant than Gialloblu, winning two of their last five meetings (the remainders were draws). Eugenio Corini’s men lack substantial faculties to address their dilemma on the defense, set pieces, conversion, and possession. Giampiero Ventura’s lads, on the contrary, have excellent skills in counter attacking as well as in finishing scoring chances. The sides are ranked 16th and sixth, respectively.

Sports betting tip: Torino will thump Chievo on a clean sheet.
