Milan and Catania are almost each other’s exact opposites, especially when considering their most recent results. Milan have stretched their unbeaten run to four matches with a thrilling performance at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris in Genoa. By contrast, Catania were significantly unproductive in their last four efforts; in fact, they have never won any fixture since late February.

Rossoneri are ranking within the top 11 while Rossazzurri are spending a 12th consecutive week in the drop zone. For Clarence Seedorf’s men, acquiring berth in the Champions League may already seem a long shot but at least they have a great chance at playing for another season in Serie A. Whereas Rolando Maran’s players could be moored in the bottom three for the rest of the season, requiring them to exit the league and suffer demotion to Italy’s second-tier football.

Online betting tip: Milan will move closer to the top seven by seizing the victory against Catania.

Udinese vs. Juventus

Match Date: 14 April 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadio Friuli

Udinese are off to a tough and mandatory challenge of subduing table toppers Juventus. Still ailing with the disaster they suffered from Fiorentina, Bianconeri are again faced with a tall order. The side have so far had a roller coaster ride in Serie A, rising to as high as the eighth and plunging to as low as the 15th. They currently rank at number 14, which they may have actually turned around if they only succeeded in converting chances in their fixtures against Roma and as mentioned, Fiorentina.

Juventus are exhibiting one of their best years in the Italian top-flight football. They are now certain to join the Champions League next season after earning the largest score in the domestic competition through 27 non-consecutive weeks of successful finishes. The frontrunners are not yet completely considered the season’s champions, but the odds, their huge gap with their nearest rivals, consistency, and overall form rather suggest they will carry the silverware very soon.

Football betting tip: Udinese will lose all three points to Juventus.
