Catania and Napoli are rank almost in the table’s extremes, with the former having tremendous challenge of escaping the drop zone and latter fighting for a place in next season’s Champions League. In terms of form, apparently, the two sides are in compete opposites. Rossazzurri have only picked up one point from their last five top-tier matches while Partenopei seized eight points from the same number of fixtures.

Head to head, Rafael Benítez’s men are also largely more dominant than the Rolando Maran side. Of the squads’ five most recent meetings, Napoli won thrice while Catania only scored points by drawing with their opponents in the remaining two matches. Skills indicators are not looking good for Catania either, as the hosts have a prominently less reliable set of strengths than their visitors.

Online betting tip: Napoli could pull off a clean sheet.

Chievo Verona vs. Bologna

Match Date: 26 March 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadio Marc`Antonio Bentegodi

Gervinho and Mattia destroyed Chievo’s winning aspiration as the Roma players easily lorded over the face-off and left Eugenio Corini’s men only a hairline away from relegation. They are now level on points with strugglers Livorno and were only saved from plunging back into the drop zone by goal difference. This should call for more caution and expert planning in order for the squad to keep adrift of danger.

Bologna, meanwhile, seized a crucial win over Cagliari which spared them from falling prey into Serie A’s deadliest zone. Thus far, the side have already amassed 26 points to rank them within the top 16. However, there is serious problem in Davide Ballardini’s men’s defensive and goalkeeping prowess as they are faced with a tremendous challenge of turning around their -19 goal difference.

Football betting tip: A draw is very plausible from this meeting.
