Atalanta are now near the floor of the Europa League fixtures after making four successive victories in Serie A. They are only seven points away from the elusive top seven and if the positive trend continues, they would automatically secure ticket for the international competition. Victories over Chievo 2-1, Lazio 0-1, Sampdoria 3-0, and Inter 1-2 are strong indicators of the side’s increasingly stellar form.

Still at high risk of relegation, Livorno will have to exert tremendous effort for them to find refuge in safety in the tournament’s remaining match weeks. Their form has so far been dismal and their frustrating goal difference is indicative of how tough has their top-tier run been. The victory over Bologna 2-1 was indeed impressive but the side went back to their losing ways as they saw themselves concede three goals and surrender victory to Torino.

Football betting tip: Atalanta will emerge triumphant from this battle.

Cagliari vs. Hellas Verona

Match Date: 26 March 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadio San Elia

Cagliari made a back-to-back disaster in Serie A after they ended their matches both against Lazio and Bologna with zero goals. This occurred at the back of a three-week unbeaten streak, which includes a three-goal clean sheet from Udinese. For Diego López, his side’s poor recent showings hve been very disappointing, but more so to every Rossoblu fan who wishes their favorite to at least reach the top half. The squad are currently at number 15, only five points adrift of the drop zone.

Verona’s last three fixtures were devastatingly dismaying. All those defeats rendered the side goalless with a particularly embarrassing result from their brawl against Sampdoria 5-0. The three weeks of successive downfalls have inevitably took a toll on Gialloblu’s form and league standing, forcing them to retreat a few spots away from the table’s higher reaches and completely shun the positions necessary to qualify for at least a Europa League seeding.

Sports betting tip: This tourney will see the clubs drop two points apiece.
