Hellas Verona

A victory on the road is a rare feat for Verona, but their joist with Udinese recently gave them their [only] second away win this season. Their opponents’ struggles seemed to have been carried over into the second half of the Italian top-tier football season as they concluded the winter break with three goals conceded to Verona.

Overall, Gialloblu have already amassed 32 points from all their battles, of which more than three quarters were achieved at home. They currently rank at number five.

Verona’s four most recent fixtures were all sources of substantial points, posting three victories and one deadlock. Their current placement in the top five is their highest since week eight, when they were ranked one spot higher. Players like Luca Toni are now looking forward to an even more impressive set of displays by his team as the season is now only a few months away from nearing its end.

Equally doing well in the domestic tournament and in the Champions League, Napoli are proving the powerhouse ensemble that they have typically been. Their last five Serie A matches awarded them with 11 points while their campaign in UEFA’s highest continental competition rendered them victorious after trouncing Arsenal 2-0.

This season’s third placers (so far) are only two points clear of the current runners up, but are quite distant from the leaders who have also accumulated 49 points from all their matches. The campaign for the top spot does not cease, nevertheless. And with a solid recent streak to pull confidence from, the hope for bigger feats is just getting stronger.

Football betting tip: This fixture between Verona and Napoli will be a sure thriller. Both sides are heavily successful in their own rights, and their respective forms are indicative of their resilience and virtuosity. For this battle, an attack-driven draw should be expected.
