Genoa

Genoa fired a dismal performance when they met with Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. The hosts somewhat gave them a footballing lesson after they earned four goals from their visitors and ended their battle in a clean sheet. Genoa had some scoring chances, but their opponents’ strong sense of defense kept them at bay of conversion. A spectacular Alessandro Florenzi overhead volley was very well complemented by goals from Francesco Totti, Maicon, and Medhi Benatia.

To date, Genoa have only amassed six wins (plus five draws) out of 19 matches, giving them just enough points to settle in the mid-table at number 10. Inconsistency is an issue Gian Piero Gasperini should address right immediately, especially that I Rossoblu’s seven most recent showings are not looking any good.

Internazionale

Beginning in their clash with Bologna, Inter have only managed to win once. Their past seven Serie A matches mostly resulted in a draw—including their most recent―with justa single fixture finished in success and two concluded in defeats. Overall, the side have a record of W8-D8-L3 or a total points of 32.

Compared to their performances at the start of the competition, Inter’s recent showings are a bit of a deterioration. In their tourney with lowly Chievo alone, they were only able to score one goal, although it was a quick response to their opponents’ opening.

Football betting tip: Despite their low-key performances in their recent matches, Inter could still make an impression in their next battle. In this face-off with Genoa, expect the visitors to earn all the three points.
