Rossoblù’s last two Serie A matches have been substandard, scoring a goal-less draw with Chievo and sacrificing two goals for Atalanta. The mediocre performances were sharp shifts from their two earlier battles, where they earned clean sheets from Livorno and Cagliari. The side are currently within the bottom five in the league table, which was previously maligned by a relegation-zone placement caused by the lowly maneuvers they displayed in the tournament’s earlier fixtures.

Coach Stefano Pioli brought good tactics to fortify his team’s defense a few weeks ago, but the structure turned weak when Atalanta skillfully rallied toward their goal. This means that Rossoblù’s defense it not yet that strong to withstand powerful attacks, although caution is now more being uplifted to prevent ill results in the future.

Sitting comfortably at the table’s fourth highest spot, Inter have already accumulated 25 points from just 12 matches, accentuated by more than half a dozen victories, four draws, and just one defeat. In those meetings, the squad managed to score 29 goals and conceded 12.

Walter Mazzarri’s men were particularly impressive in their last two fixtures. Clean sheets were achieved on both occasions, with the intelligent and graceful attacks from the troupe’s key players slamming the hopes for Udinese and Livorno for a goal. As always, I Nerazzurri showed how finishing scoring chances is done and how defending set pieces is correctly executed.

Football betting tip: Even on their home turf, Bologna should be wary of their opponents. Inter are a massive pack of warriors and their fierceness is evident in their excellent form—regardless if they play home or away. Facing players that have only lost once this season, Bologna should prepare for a heavy-weight struggle. Betting between 1.75 and 2.20 for Inter will prove highly profitable.
