Arsenal v Olympique de Marseille - UEFA Champions League

Bundesliga sides, particularly those who achieved European berths, would bulk up their pitch grade even further by adding new powerhouses into their ensembles. However, those in the table’s lower reaches might also secure genuinely talented players in order to strengthen their chance at obtaining much higher placement next season. Here are some speculations that might change the face of Bundesliga next season:

Reports suggest that Bayern Munich key player Arjen Robben is being shortlisted as one of Manchester United’s top targets for transfer. However, the 30-year-old star said that he is still happy with his German club. Reconsideration is not impossible, though.

Pep Guardiola is putting Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on Der FCB’s radar. The Welsh midfielder has missed a good portion of his side’s campaign last season but still managed to rack up 16 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions. These include the highly crucial extra-time winner over Hull City in the FA Cup final.

If there are transfers, there must also be exits. Liverpool are reportedly in talks with with Bayer Leverkusen to sign young German midfielder Emre Can. The midfielder made 39 appearances in all competitions last season and contributed in his club’s Champions League berth for next term.

Some Bundesliga players, meanwhile, chose not to leave Germany and have instead, extended their contracts with their respective Bundesliga sides. Oliver Kirch will remain under the wings of Borussia Dortmund until the end of 2015-16 season while Holger Badstuber would be making a grand comeback to Bayern Munich after enduring a cruciate ligament tear in his right knee in December 2012. He’d be fully recovered by the start of the new season.

Another Dortmund player, forward Marco Reus, is also rumored to transfer to Manchester United. However, he has firmly dismissed the report and insists on having no intentions of leaving the Westfalenstadion.
