Hannover 96- Szabolcs

Hannover 96 seems to spiral downward in terms of how they fare in Bundesliga. The last season saw them drop to the 10th spot, a notch lower than what they achieved during their 2012/2013 campaign.

Although the drop was a disappointing one, there is an air of relief from Hannover’s supporters considering that they almost fell into the relegation zone after a series of lackluster performance.

Tayfun Korkut’s arrival proved to be a fruitful one as he introduced new approaches which, somehow, renewed the squad’s confidence.

Match to remember

Hannover’s 3-1 win over Wolfsburg was instrumental to the former’s survival. Prior to the said match, Hannover was already experiencing a long losing streak, which forced them to end the season’s first half near the relegation zone.

Match to forget

Suffering a 3-0 defeat to the relegated Braunschweig was both embarrassing and frustrating. Somehow, the loss also caused a stir into the squad since it was trying to collect more points and veer farther way from the relegation zone.

The scene-stealers

Szabolcs Huszti, who scored ten (10) goals during his thirty (30) appearances is a certified gem within Hannover’s ranks.

Latest additions

Former Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Joselu is one of the new faces to arrive at Hannover’s camp. His entry is expected to help the squad go back to its glorious days when it was one of the heavy favorites of online betting tips.
