Borussia Monchengladbach- Week 11 Recap

Week highlights

After hitting the rock bottom part of the top-flight league, Borussia Dortmund is back to its winning ways—well, hopefully, the men in yellow and black will be able to show grit and class once again.

Prior to the match last week, Dortmund’s threshold of strength seemed to collapse when it slipped to the relegation zone last week. The unforgivable drop made a buzz considering the fact that they have performed well in the Champions League. Yet, they made a difference last week. Although Borussia Monchengladbach was pegged as the top pick of sports betting sites, Jurgen Klopp and his men overcame the challenge. It wasn’t as impressive though since the win was an own goal by Cristoph Kramer.

Meanwhile, the wolves of Wolfsburg continue to unleash a glorious howl. Last week, the squad dominated the lowly Hamburg, torn them to pieces and maintained a strong grip of Bundesliga’s 2nd spot.

Freiburg is also one of the biggest winners last week. Christian Streich and his men unfurled an upset against Schalke, which, like Dortmund, cannot seem to find its way to the top.

Scene-stealers

The Bavarian’s young and talismanic striker, Thomas Muller made the crowd roar last week. Muller led the team to victory after completing a hat-trick.

The blunders

Kramer’s own goal was of course, the worst kind of defeat that any club could experience. Perhaps, Kramer should be given a review of which Borussian team he belongs to.

What to expect

With a renewed sense of confidence, many are expecting Dortmund to unleash a winning streak. Many are also expecting Kramer to know the difference between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach.
