Updated: September 5, 2013

Four match sets have past and Bundesliga have gone much more hectic than it was in the opening. To heighten this fever even more is a competing pair that will tackle hard-hitting goals in the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena on September 15. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will confront Borussia Mönchengladbach in a battle that will gauge coaches Markus Gisdol and Max Eberl’s capacity to send their respective side to the higher ranks in the League table.

Currently rated at number seven, M’gladbach have scored an equal number of wins and losses. Their curtain raiser was an utter disappointment, having been overthrown by Bayern München in a crushing 1-3 score. This, however, was aptly compensated by a raging 3-0 home win against Hannover. Beyer Leverkusen gave Eber’s side their second season defeat 2-4, in match that saw Leverkusen’s Stefan Kießling deliver an impressive opening score and two intelligent assists. Sealing Die Fohlen’s streak is their recent conquest over Werder Bremen 4-1. Thus far, the side have already conceded eight goals in four matches, in which they collected six points.

Hoffenheim are presently occupying the Lleague table’s 11th spot, with two draws, one defeat, and one win accumulated from all their inaugural matches. Their first appearance in the German top-level tournament demonstrated an almost even propensity between them and their opponents, Nurnberg, eventually drawing 2-2 by the end of the match. Markus Gisdol’s men’s second stint was a defining moment for the Bundesliga new season in general, having acquired five powerful goals to lord over Hamburger that just obtained one inning. This was shortly followed by another draw with Freigurg 3-3 and concluded their four-match streak with in a painful defeat 2-6 from Stuttgart. Thus far, the side have already allowed a dozen goals to be scored by their opponents, while their overall rating is pegged at five points.

Bundesliga betting tips: Given their current forms and past records, M’gladbach and Hoffenheim will turn this face-off into a hard-fought tourney. A draw is likely to come out of this meeting, but if M’gladbach are able to expand their limits a little wider, then they could obtain their third Bundesliga victory from this bout.
