The Bundesliga journey continues for Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt. Thus far, both teams have amassed fairly passable performances this season, currently standing at the ninth and fifteenth spots, respectively. For the league’s fifth week, the sides will have their turn to face one another and seize opportunities for fan support and online betting preference. The match will take place on September 14 at the Weserstadion in Bremen.

Improving Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen’s performance last season was marred by a string of fluctuations, causing them to only rank at the 14th spot overall. This time around, the team seem to be improving by a few notches as they have been able to ascend to the ninth place by courtesy of four encounters. Die Werderaner got past the season opener with a proud 1-0 win over Braunschweig and was followed right after by another victory over Augsburg 1-0. Robin Dutt’s men were pretty confident that they will continue in the tournament undefeated, until compact Borussia Dortmund gave them their first taste of defeat 0-1 for the season. Mönchengladbach were similarly eager to score their second win for their campaign, and so they did when they thrashed Bremen 4-1 at home.

Struggling Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt’s form this season is not telling a good story—a stark contradiction to their remarkable performance last season.  Their debut fixture sent them to agony after Hertha slammed them in an overwhelming 6-1 defeat. Die Adler’s wound got even worse when defending champions Bayern Munich gave them their second consecutive downfall. Vaclav Kadlec’s addition to the club was a spot-on move for coach Armin Veh as it might have probably been one of the factors that allowed the side to seize their first victory in the German top-flight league, defeating Braunschweig 2-0. For their fourth appearance in the tournament, Frankfurt again had to endure a setback. Current table leaders Borussia Dortmund smashed them in a 1-2 final score.

How the match will end

Last season, Frankfurt were clearly seen as superior over Bremen. But for this term, their table placements are demonstrating opposition. Majority of their last few matches have ended in a deadlock, and for this tourney, the same result will probably cap the tally board. Bremen’s improvement cannot be considered a breakthrough yet and likewise, Frankfurt’s record decline still cannot qualify for an absolute occurrence. Both sides will earn two goals apiece by the conclusion of the match.
