Newly promoted Paderborn have been unbeaten for the last three weeks of the German top-tier league, with two draws and one victory to their name. With this, they are comfortably seated at sixth place of the current Bundesliga rankings, making them among the dark horses of the entire tournament. Their form is quite impressive for a returning contender and there is a good chance they could spend at least one more season in the competition given their current trend. Hannover, similarly, have managed to remain unbeaten since the new season opened and are presently positioned within the top three. They debuted in the tourney with a glorious 2-1 victory against Schalke 04, trailed it with a goalless draw against Mainz 05, and sealed their three-week campaign with a clean sheet triumph over Hamburg.

Sports betting tip: Hannover 96 will keep a clean record at the expense of Paderborn.

Hamburger SV vs. Bayern Munich

Match Date: 20 September 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Imtech Arena

Hamburg and Bayern Munich are displaying a stark contradiction of their respective forms. While the defending champions have kept and undefeated streak since opening day, the hosts have failed to score at least one win from the past few weeks. Munich rank second in the league, right next to current leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Hamburg, by contrast, are marooned at the foot of the league table after they only seized one point (alongside a -5 goal difference) from all their Bundesliga fixtures this term.

Online betting tip: Bayern Munich could pull off a clean sheet victory against Hamburg.
