Freiburg and Berlin are both currently positioned in the table’s bottom third (but still adrift of the drop zone) as they failed to score victories in their new season campaign for the last three weeks. The side have only managed to obtain one point from all their matches and have been rendered losers in their most recent battle. Freiburg’s Oliver Song rallied late in the dying seconds of their match versus Borussia Dortmund, but that was after their opponents have already netted three goals between the 34th and 78th minutes. Berlin, meanwhile, had Ronny strike a penalty goal in the 86th minute but their opponents, Mainz 05, already had a two-goal advantage before that which they later tripled on stoppage time.

Football betting tip: Freiburg and Berlin will share the spoils.

Schalke 04 vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Match Date: 20 September 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Veltins Arena

Winless for the past eight weeks (including three in Budesliga), Schalke are having one of their worst forms in years. They are buried in the German top-flight football’s bottom three and are barely shunning the table’s foot with just a slightly less frustrating goal difference they are holding on to. From their most recent fixture, they conceded four goals to Monchengladbach while just conceding one. By contrast, Frankfurt are making a relatively good display in the league as they debuted in the season with a victory and followed it up with another win until they met with Augsburg and incurred their first defeat of the season. They currently sit within the top 10 of the rankings.

Sports betting tip: Frankfurt will seize all the marbles from Schalke.
