Reims and Rennes are both in the mid-table, five points or four places apart with the hosts being the more dominant side.  Berth in next season of Ligue 1 is already certain for these squads, but seeding in any of the major UEFA tournaments is no longer plausible.

The sides have similar forms as far as their last three matches are concerned. Reims were beaten twice and won once with total goals scored of two; Rennes also lost twice and won once, but scored one goal higher. Head-to-head, the teams are quite level. Of their four most recent meetings, the sides obtained two victories apiece.

Online betting tip: Reims and Rennes will battle out a goalless draw.

Toulouse vs. Valenciennes

Match Date: 17 May 2014 (local)

Match Venue: Stadium Municipal

Toulouse will have little challenge at defeating uninspired, already-relegated Valenciennes in Ligue 1’s finale week. Any result from this clash will no longer be that essential for both of these squads: TFC are already seeded for the top-tier football’s next season while Les Athéniens’ exit into the second division has already been confirmed.

Form-wise, none of these teams showed substantial spectacles as far as their most recent battles are concerned. Both of them have been winless for the last eight weeks in Ligue 1, although the hosts earned some points from scoring stalemates in four fixtures. Head-to-head, however, the visitors actually received more wins than Toulouse in their last four face-offs. Ariël Jacobs’s men won twice and drew twice as well; Alain Casanova’s players, apparently, were beaten twice and only scored one point from each of their remaining tourneys.

Football betting tip: This time, Toulouse will dominate over Valenciennes.
