While Guingamp are playing in an almost the same performance as last season (which is not exactly something that will make them more handsome), Monaco are frustratingly dwindling in terms of their ability to produce spectacles.

AS Monaco FC

Last season’s runners up are having a hard time replicating their strong performances into the current season, as apparently seen in their dangerously poor form. In the last five weeks since Ligue 1 has opened, Les Rouges et Blancs have already lost nine points and have only managed to secure four. They suffered among the worst upsets of the season, so far, and Radamel Falcao temporary farewell from the side might just make things even worse. Leonardo Jardim’s men are currently in the relegation zone, which is already their second time since spending their second league week also in the same spot (19th).

En Avant de Guingamp

Guingamp have already suffered enough beatings in the last five weeks to burden them in an insecure position in the league. The goalless defeats their incurred from Saint-Etienne, Marseille, and Lorient have caused them some trouble but thanks to some wonder goals from three of their players (or four, depending on the definition), Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side can still keep their hopes high and remain mindful of the fate in Ligue 1.

Online betting tip: While neither Monaco nor Guingamp show obvious dominance, the home squad will make this battle their springboard to gain back their rapidly waning glory.
