While PAOK are currently one of Greece’s top sides in terms of domestic and international accomplishments, Guingamp are less popular amongst Ligue 1 supporters. The squads have their own strengths and weaknesses, but a continental tourney can always determine who got the more powerful bullets.

En Avant de Guingamp

Guingamp’s form is far from acceptable. Their last few matches have all been fruitless, following consecutive thumping from Monaco, Metz, and Montpellier in the French top-flight league as well as from Fiorentina in the Europa League group round opening. They conceded three goals to their Italian opposition and if not for one of their group-mates having performed worse, Guingamp could have kicked off their campaign at the foot of the group table. In Ligue 1, however, they are marooned at the ranking’s foot.

PAOK Thessaloniki FC

PAOK are performing impressively well in the Greek Super League as they currently rank atop the table with one point to spare. At the Europa League, they also displayed monstrous talents that prevented Dinamo Minsk to debut with a flying colors or Fiorentina to make an early lead in the group. The squad scored six goals from the fixture and only conceded one. Athanasiadis netted a hat-trick which him one of the only three players (the other being Soudani and Keseru in separate groups) in the current season to fire at least three goals.

Europa League betting tip: Guingamp will concede more than one goal to PAOK.
