Austria and Montenegro’s successful run during the qualifiers’ next leg will readily inspire the squads to persevere and snatch more wins in order to advance to the competition’s next stage.

The contenders

Austria earned an even steven finish against the online betting favorite, Sweden during its first qualifying match. David Alaba has successfully converted a penalty on the 7th minute, but Sweden’s Erkan Zengin immediately responded on the 12th minute.
Although there a little bit of frustration filled the Austrian camp, the result was nonetheless, more acceptable than losing precious points. Moreover, it cannot be denied that Sweden is one of the most powerful teams in the European Championship that has to be feared of. Evidently, there is nothing to be ashamed with earning a draw.

Montenegro is one of the squads, which readily featured in Group G during the opening of the qualifiers. The team immediately snatched a 2-0 win against Moldova, thanks to Mirko Vucinic and Zarko Tomasevic.

Due to its success in the first leg, it is not surprising to see the squad as one of the group’s favorites to advance in the next round.

Possible head turners

The tandem of Vucinic and Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic are expected to make waves for Montenegro. Austria should be readily wary of this as the two could sink them without even lifting a finger.
