Real Madrid vs Galatasaray

Europe’s most esteemed continental tournament and hotspot for online betting assemblies will see top national clubs chase for the silverware. Now that the competition is already at the brim of the group stage, it would be a tough but fulfilling task for contenders like Galatasaray and Real Madrid to overthrow their competitions. The said clubs will be competing against each other on September 17 at the Turk Telekom Arena in Istanbul, their first meeting since April 10.

Turkish giants Galatasaray reached the quarter-finals last season, but were hindered to advance in the semi-finals by their current opponents. While Real Madrid were successful at defeating their Turkish rivals in the first leg 3-0, they suffered a narrow defeat in their second face-off 3-2. What was supposed to be an even match later turned out to be a Spanish domination, after aggregate scores revealed Los Blancos to be in the winning bracket.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains to be Real Madrid’s top warrior, and plausibly one of the many reasons that the Spanish club will keep their Champions League façade very visible. With Gareth Bale joining the brood, the club have more than enough reasons to score breathtaking innings.   Team boss Carlo Ancelotti will have only a few things to worry about as his ensemble will keep their tides in the peak point.

Galatasaray have new signups to vaunt, which include Portuguese Under-20 international winger Bruma. Club staples Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder will continue making great jobs and should serve as team leaders following a strong finish in Champions League the last time. As one of Turkey’s best rated clubs, Cimbom are expected to display riveting drills in their upcoming tourney with Real Madrid, and have high hopes that they will be able to top-out their 1989 semi-final record in the tournament.

Champions League betting tip: While Galatasaray have had a great impact (and strong surprise factor) in the Champions League last season, they will have another tough time toppling their Spanish rivals. Real Madrid have won the title several times and they will likely protect their well-kept streak by making this match still under their control.
